Advance Machining Inc. was founded to bring precision CNC capability to the crane and hoist industry — a niche that demands parts built to hold real loads, not just pass a quick check.
Advance Machining Inc. is co-owned and operated by Christian and Sandro Agostinelli, brothers who bring their combined machining background together under one roof in Stoney Creek. Christian is the veteran of the two, with decades of hands-on machining experience behind him. Sandro rounds out the team with his own shop experience and leads on CNC programming and the software side of the business. Between them, the shop runs on real production know-how, not just equipment.
We focus on crane and hoist components because that's where our experience runs deepest — wheels, axles, pinions, bearing housings, sheaves, and hookblock parts for manufacturers who can't afford a part that fails under load.
1951 – 2023
Our father started the family machine shop that came before this one and taught Christian and Sandro everything they know about the trade. That original shop closed during COVID, but the standards he set didn't go anywhere — everything Advance Machining does today still runs on what he built.
None of this happens without him.
